Ray Dean Brown, 81 of Klamath Falls, passed away peacefully on Jan. 25, 2018 while holding the hand of his loving wife Jennie. Ray was born to Albert and Goldie Brown on Nov. 4, 1936 in the small town of Sitka, Arkansas. Ray’s family moved around quite a bit before settling in Klamath Falls, Oregon in 1950. Fifteen years later in Sept. of 1965, Ray met Jennie Marie Timmerman and married her on Monday Aug. 1, 1966 in Reno, NV. and they spent 51 wonderful years together. Ray enjoyed hunting, camping, mowing the lawn and spending time with friends and family, but his true passion was fishing. Ray’s family described him as a very loving, caring, social, funny and compassionate individual and he will be deeply missed. Ray is survived by his loving wife, Jennie Marie Brown; daughters, Sandra (Lewis) Massina and Jackie (Toby) Birdwell; His only son Daniel “Sam” Brown; grandchildren, Kayla Brown, Raquel Ivy, L.J. Massina, Josh Chapman and Kori Daughtery and his great-grandchildren, Arien, Paisley Marie, Keylee, Chandler and Eli, including numerous nieces and nephews. Ray is preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Goldie Brown; brothers, Tom, Donald, Jim and Billy Brown and his sister Patsy Long. At Ray’s request, only private services will be held.
