Patricia "Tye" Lee (Sherman) Hearn

June 15, 1944 ~ January 8, 2019 (age 74)

Obituary

Patricia "Tye" L. Hearn    74, of Klamath Falls, Oregon passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Tuesday, January 8th, 2019. Tye was born on June 15th, 1944 to Stella and John Sherman in Sacramento, CA where she and her family lived for a few years before moving to Grants Pass, Oregon where she spent most of her childhood. In 1962, Tye was in her late teens when her family moved back to Sacramento where she met the love of her life Mr. Roy L. Hearn Jr. that October. On February 26th, 1963, only four months after they met, they found themselves exchanging their vows  at The Church of Christ in North Highlands, CA where Roy was stationed during his career in The United States Air Force. After being married, Tye spent an extensive amount of time traveling to England and Germany as well as visiting most of the western United States including Colorado, Utah, Nevada and of course California.

In March of 1965 Tye and Roy had their first son, John D. Hearn. When John was only two and a half years old Tye and Roy would have their second son, Richard L. Hearn in January of 1968. Tye and Roy raised their lovely family in Sacramento, before settling in Klamath Falls in 1996. By this time Tye and Roy already had two beautiful grandchildren Anastasia R. Hearn and John Hearn Jr. that lived in Colorado, but they both frequently visited their grandparents just about every summer in Klamath Falls. John and Anastasia used to say that people ought to be jealous, because their grandma Tye, was the best grandmother in the world.

Tye's family describes her as a very rare, unique, outgoing, unpretentious and selfless individual. Tye was the last remaining of her three brothers and two sisters that have preceded her in death. Tye is also preceded in death by her precious son Richard L. Hearn as well as her loving parents Stella and John Sherman. Everyone that had the pleasure of knowing Tye, could tell you how charismatic and full of life that she was. Tye has touched the lives of many and will be deeply missed.  We know you are with the lord now and heaven has gained one of its most beautiful angels, and from heaven you will look down upon us. You will never be forgotten and will be forever in our hearts. Life will just not be the same without you. We all love and miss you so very much..

Tye is survived by her loving husband Roy L. Hearn Jr.; Her son John D. Hearn; her grandchildren Anastasia R. Hearn and John D. Hearn Jr. that both miss you so much already. We love you grandma and thank you for being the best grandma in the world. We find comfort in our hearts knowing that one day we will see you again. May you rest in peace.
